Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Park Zaimov is one of the best parks in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is not so big, but it is a perfect place for a walk and relax!

Nice park with playgrounds and tennis courts. There are many restaurants around it. It is located in the city center. On weekends it is quite crowded.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading toward the craft beer bar called Kanaal and walked through Park Zaimov on a very cold evening and what a very nice park this is .
The park area is quite large ,theres a nice play area for the kids and plenty of seating options ,theres lots of statues in the park and a theater, there's a couple of bars in the park and all around the park is surrounded by pubs, bars and restaurants, it's a cool park area,I should imagine in the Summer this park is very busy ,a hive of activity.
An interesting and really nice park, most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a trip to Sofia.
Easy to locate along Yanko Sakazov Bulevard.

This is a popular Park a short walk from the cathedral area. Many interesting modern sulpures, many sadly defaced with graffiti.
Plenty of eating places and coffee shops for people watching.
Very popular with families and dog walkers

This was the first dining experience we had while in Bulgaria and normally your first meal is good, but the food gets better as the trip goes on. I can easily say this was one of the best meals throughout the entire 10-day trip! The Chopska salad is a staple with every meal. I highly recommend the pork ribs. And if you get the "fries" you have to get them with cheese. Save room for dessert because the chocolate crepe is incredible and worth the extra wait (or order a little before you're done). One is enough even if you're sharing with another person. When we go back, this will be our first stop without a doubt!

“Zaimov” is named after General Vladimir Zaimov and is long rectalungar park close to other interesting locations like the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the library the Sofia Theatre,
There is a lot to do for young and old with tennis cours, bars, restaurants and playgrounds scattered around the park together with a lot of green and statues. It's really lovely to sit down and to relax after a long walk before you go further to other interesting locations in the city.
