Vitosha is truely vibrant place. All the cafes, restaurants and fashion boutiques make it a must-see place if you are planning an active holiday.

We really enjoyed strolling through this amazing pedestrians only boulevard. Lots of cafes and bars around.

It takes around 20 minutes to walk the length of the street, passing many bars and restaurants on the way. Don't ignore the side roads where you can often find bars offering better value.

Good outdoor Dining and nice shopping. Some cheap stores and a thriving but safe 24 hour restaurant & bar. The most fashionable (gentlemans) shops seem to be on the side streets

In the heart of the city, the pedestrian area gives the opportunity for a pleasant stroll, view of the mountains and weather permitting, for drinking and dining outside.

It's a pleasant street to walk down. Less shops than I expected but the restaurants seemed like a nice place to eat. Worth the stroll, daytime or evening.

A lovely boulevard in central sofia now that it's fully pedestrianised the trams don't run through it anymore. The street is now beautifully repaved and lined with cafes, restaurants and shops both sides. It's lovely place to sit and drink coffee and people watch as...More

Probably, a lot of stuff is cheaper, but avoid Vitosha Boulevard, as touristic areas tend to be more expensive.

There is a stand at the airport. OK Taxi. Use them its decent service. Cost 14-15 Bulgarian Let or pay credit card at their stand.
