As one of our friends said “when you’ve seen one wall you’ve seen them all”. It does show the ancient history of Sofia but we found it a bit “samey”.

A very extensive collection of ruins discovered, I was told, during a construction dig adjacent to the Metro entrance it is something to see.

The Amphitheater of Serdica, discovered in 2004, is part of what was the roman amphitheater of the city now inside a modern hotel, quite impressive to look at.

Sort of an architectural and engineering accomplishment, but the real miracle is that the city fathers had the foresite to save it.
