On some walking tours, but it is interesting to history and esp. to the history of Bulgaria, look it up, or read the guide book.

this is an interesting statue. It doesn't take long to see. It is interesting even in the rain. It rained every day of our visit at the end of June. The folks said this was unusual. I think the rain follows my wife and I.

Alexander II liberated Bulgaria from the Turks so they have commerated that event with this statue. It's an impressive statue. If you are walking by, it's worth viewing.

What can I say? It's weird to rate a statue. But as far as statues go, it's big, visible, respected and covered the usual amount of pigeon droppings.
