The Mimara Museum is a museum with a reasonably good collection of paintings and artefacts spread across three floors. Tickets are 40 HRK per person and timings are 10am to 5pm. Not really a must on your Zagreb itinerary but interesting nonetheless
We really didn;t know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. There is quite a variety of art so it would appeal to many. Entrance fee wasnt too much. I would allow 1-2 hours depending on how fast you move.
Sadly this place left me with great disappointment. According the tourst informations I found on the internet I was expecting great paintings and sculptures. But in fact this museum desperately needs a great renovation. Several paintings were missing, and you could see the black dust...More
We found this to be one of the more interesting museum on our trip through eastern europe. The staff couldn't have been kinder....the lady at the ticket area insisted we take an electronic table with us and while I was hesistant...it turned out to be...More
This private art museum was a disappointment because many of the works were copies were inferior works of the Masters. There were only a few original paintings.
The museum occupies a large space in Sava street or exhibits contained in it are not at that level, are overestimated
