Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia’s most visited attractions, drawing more than one million visitors annually. Because of its popularity, it can be a challenge for travelers to navigate crowds and make the most of their time spent there. On this tour, save time and energy by letting let a guide and driver take care of logistics. Pack in a village visit. hike, and more in one full day.

What to do when you are in Zagreb and the weather is bad. No problem, go to Zagreb City Museum. There are old guns and uniforms, emblems, stone pieces from church buildings and many more. There is also first and only Oscar in history for a croatian movie.

I liked this unique Museum immensely as it capture essence of past and present history of Zagreb from prehistory, archeological findings, 45 different themes in totality that makes any traveller to this beautiful city to familiarize and to feel at home. Located in 17th century Convent of St Claire, a heritage building, this Museum portray Zagreb in all aspects of art, culture, politics, literature, economics, architecture, entertainment and diversity of lifestyles. The ground and first floor have permanent exhibits including models of important structures. There is also a multimedia room for interactive exhibits for children. There is admission ticket and photography is allowed without flash. The lady at the reception was exceptionally helpful and she is in fact guided me about what other Museums to see in the city by writing on a piece of papers along with route sketch. Most memorable experience for me. The brochure is self explanatory and very informative.

The museum is layed out in a way that leads from early archeologic findings through the founding of the city displayed in models as the city grew. The people both rulers and cultural are also represented in costumes and artifacts. My time there was short but enough time for a quick overview of Zagreb history.
