I'm not whether this square is the town center but if it's not it's very close to it. I saw a bunch of trams make their stop here and the place is always bustling with people. The fountain is nice to sit by while waiting...More

One of the best place to be especially during Christmas. Many stalls were set up in the square selling Christmas trinkets, food etc. There were some singers singing carols giving this place a beautiful atmosphere.

I found this statue to be a lot bigger than what it appears in photographs. It is a great landmark to use as a reference point and a meeting place. The trams stop right there all the time and there are plenty of shops and...More

A lively and crowded square especially during the Advent season. The square is located in the city centre and there was a large Christmas tree and Christmas markets with small stalls selling food, Christmas goodies, souvenirs and jewellery. We loved the atmosphere there. There were...More

It honestly wasn't much to see but it had a great atmosphere. To be honest I wasn't that good at orienting myself around the city and I spent most of my time at the square so that's probably why I got bored of it so...More

The square looks really nice, and you can find everything nearby. Drugstore, market, restaurants, bars, etc.

It is the start and finish point of any visitor in Zagreb. Is the square where you can get on any tramway line, the place around which you want to book accomodation when visiting during the Christmas holiday. As a visitor, is the must see...More

If you have high hopes from this square, you will be disappointed. Architecture is not stunning. There is no charm. Doesn't have any influence of local culture - local musicians or local artists.. not many restaurants around the square.
