Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great 3 day tour in and around Rovinj with Damian. We toured by bus , boat , on foot , learnt a
lot about the area & people , also ate at some excellent restaurants, visited some amazing locations for sunsets . He also organized all
the accommodation for us which was a great help . This is the second time we have been on tour with him as we took some excellent tours with him in the Algarve, Portugal in October 2017. (I thought I wrote a review after that trip but it seems to have disappeared )
He is very knowledgeable, helpful , and a lot of fun !! We all loved his energy & how patient he is with our children as well as with the adults. Highly recommended . He really is the perfect guide .

This is by far my favourite tour ever! I appreciate when someone is knowledgeable and also charismatic and funny. Damjan has a full 360 knowledge, he happily answered all the questions I asked.

He is also a brilliant host and completely looked after the wellbeing of our party. I'd come back to Zagreb just to go on another tour with him. TOP RECOMMENDATION!

Our family of five were in Europe in January and we did several tours with Hello Zagreb.

Marina picked us up from the Train Station and dropped us to our apartment, she chatted to the owner and gave us recommendations for eating places. We did a 1/2 day walking and driving tour with Marina seeing the sights in Zagreb. Marina was lovely she explained everything perfectly and kept our kids engaged. Her English is better than most Australians! We did another day tour with Marina which included Trakoscan, Varazdin and the Salaj Christmas Farm. It was another delightful day and Marina surprised us with some lovely bakery items. Hello Zagreb were fantastic in shaping our tour as I had some specific things I wished to do. Marina was delightful and I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful experience she gave us.

I called Hellp Zagreb in the evening.

I thought that they would not be able to organize trip next day, but friendly stuff did huge effort and arranged even bigger car in order for us to be comfortable next day.

Tour was amazing. Guide was very knowledgeable and passionate.

We would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Zagreb.

Regards from Sarajevo

We did the Maxi tour as it covered all the sites on our list & going by car was a great option for the rainy weather.
Being a local, Damjan knew the areas & best routes which helped us make the most of our time.
The tour company was a pleasure to deal with & Damjan was a great guide.
Highly recommended.

As always, there were many tours / operators to choose from when I was planning my trip to Zagreb but I am so glad to have chosen Hello Zagreb!
Right from the beginning when I was still in the planning stages and I contacted Damjan and he was most helpful in not only accommodating my requests but also suggesting alternatives which would most suit my parents and I. His email responses were prompt and thorough providing all the details required to help me plan.
Once in Zagreb, we had three tours with Damjan to Bled and Llubjana, Zagreb City tour and Rijeka and Opatija and one with Adam to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Each time, Damjan would check the weather and head for the places which we could enjoy most and where we'd be able to make most of the day. We were very lucky to see Bled in beautiful sunny weather. To be honest, it didn't take long at all on the first tour for us all to feel "at home" with Damjan". He was fun, funny, informative and had plenty to tell us about history, lifestyle, politics and more.
In Llubjana, Damjan had kindly found us a vegetarian restaurant to stop in and what a treat that was followed by a leisurely stroll.
As there was more than one of Zagreb City tours I wanted to do, Damjan combined a few of them for us to give us a nice mix of an intro of Zagreb along with Zagreb Religions, Socialist Zagreb, Christmas in Zagreb which was a great insight and this ended with a coffee in small cosy coffee shop which in December was very welcome. During this tour, Damjan pointed out facts and features of Zagreb (architecture the past, the present, lifestyle and much more). The last tour we did with Damjan was to Rijeka and Opatija. Damjan had replaced this for us from another tour I had chosen as he had checked the weather forecast and the coast was due to be great. Well, we couldn't have asked for better and it was perfect.
Adam took us to Plitvice. Adam was great fun, patient and kind and again had so many stories to tell and a lot of history on our way to the National Park which made time fly by. We were yet again blessed with sun and hardly any visitors at that time of the year so thoroughly enjoyed it with lots of photo opportunities which Adam would point out. We missed one of the boats so we sat there and chatted.
All four tours were excellent and we would highly recommend using Hello Zagreb as Damjan and Adam were just great tour guides – They know a lot not only about their own country but so much more about the world and it’s even more interesting hearing comparisons. Both are very courteous, accommodating and really go out of the way to make each tour a personal experience so you do feel that the tours were especially tailored for you. Not only would I not hesitate recommending Hello Zagreb but I would use them myself again not to mention that Damjan also went well out of his way to help us out on a few occasion with some logistics. Thanks very much Damjan and Adam for making our stay in Croatia so memorable and helping us to understand and learn more about the country and people. Loved all the tours and every moment!

Can't thank Damjan enough for ensuring my first visit to Croatia was an amazing one. Damjan was the perfect host. His knowledge and wit made our journey a very enjoyable experience. Our day trip to Montenegro was more like a family outing than a tour. In Zagreb, Adam joined our group ensuring we arrived in a safe and timely fashion for our activities. His flats were the perfect location from which to explore Zagreb. From Zagreb to Buapest to Kosice, they ensured our journey was a memorable one. Highly recommend them.

Damjan was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Zagreb and Croatia and presented information in an interesting and enjoyable way while remaining informal and approachable. He could answer any question we threw at him! I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn a little about the place they’re visiting.
