We spent a weekend in Zagreb and visited the Dolac market. The products were very tasty, fresh and incredibly cheap compared to European average - for instance for fruits. Don't miss the chance to visit fish market or to chat a bit with the kind...More

The Dolac Market in Zagreb is a great way to check out the local products. It is always fun to see what is available in different cities.

It's easy to find the market as it's in Ban Jelacic Square. I love going for a stroll through a local market. There was fresh fruit available, tourist trinkets, and locally made items. Nothing sets it apart from other markets but it is still lovely...More

Central Green market in Zagreb. Here you can experience how local people live, what food they prefers. It is not touristic attraction but a real Zagreb belly.

I went to the green market in Dubrovnik, Split, and Zagreb (this market). By far this was the most impressive one in terms of size, selection, and ambience. It made me want to come back and stay for two weeks so I can shop here...More

Our apartment had a beautiful view over the market, so you could watch the vendors unpacking from early morning and to down to buy nice fresh fruit and vegetables. I just found the bees to be a bit of a problem, but the people were...More

Nothing too big in scale. Sell a lot of fresh produce. Love the dry fruits - apricots and dry figs - so delicious - we bought bags after bags. The best one is the stall that is on the right as you climb up to...More

It is open on weekdays aswell. Avoid those prices that ends on -.99 (9.99kn/12.99...) because they resell fruits and vegetables. I would recommend one family just in the corner of market - when you go to cathedral.
