Along with many other establishments in Bucharest, the fee for taking photographs makes people just refuse to pay it. A shame. The fee for me a pensioner to go in was about 50p but to take photos was about £8.50 !!... More

The museum is closed from October to December 31st 2016 according to a sign posted on the gate. There are a few vehicles visible, but otherwise nothing to see at present.

Raging we did not get to see the inside of this museum as it was closed when we rode past. we did however get to see a lot from the gates. Looked very interesting indeed.

Lovely little museum. Although you have to pay to take photos which was a little strange. Otherwise worth a visit if in Romania

I just wanted to add to other reviews. I had a pleasant one hour visit today. I was interested in the more modern collections - these are not actually in the main building, but out the back behind the outdoor exhibits. In two other buildings. For my visit the top floor of the main building was closed, so I don't... More

Even their weapons have the intricate Romanian artistry that was prevalent pre communism. You could actually tell from weapons and uniforms when communists took over even if not told. I just hope they... More
