If you've got time whilst you're in Bucharest I recommend you take this tour, it's a nice change of pace from the city and Peleş Castle is stunning! Although Bran Castle isn't quite as spectacular as you'd expect, you've got to bare in mind it's 700 years old! The guide our group had was very knowledgeable and gave us a... More

Mr. Tripp Company organized trip to Bulgaria from Bucharest. The tour was a lot of fun. We got a small taste of Bulgaria. We saw The Rock Monastery of St. Dimitar Basarbovski and the Forteress of Tirnovo. Our van driver was hilarious. It was a well worth trip.

I took the 12-hour tour of Transylvania on Sunday, 9 April, and would say that it is well worth it. We visited Peles Castle, Bran Castle and the city of Brasov, where we had lunch. Our tour guide was very good and knew both Romanian history and current political and social events within the country.

I did 2 tours with Mr Tripp, the Draculas castle tour which runs Daily and the One day to Bulgaria. Both were well worth it, they pack a huge amount in so your not hanging around anywhere too long although it would be nicer if there were more photo stops. The guides and drivers are all brilliant and very funny,... More

This was a fantastic day out. We were picked up on time in an air-conditioned minibus and had a great guide, Alex, and also his colleague, Roxana, who is training to become a guide. We visited Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov during the day, with a little free time in Brasov to go and get some lunch. Both castles... More

We booked with Mr Tripp from U.K. And think this was a good deal - didn't seem cheaper to do when we got here. Early start at 7.50 and picked up by guide Andre and a coach. Coach very comfortable and frequent 'technical stops' (comfort breaks) broke up the 21/2 hr journey to Sanaia for first palace visit. Commentary was... More

Wonderful guide - Alex Stan. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Well worth the price. The only minor disappointment we had was that we were transferred from a minibus to a large, crowded bus. It made for a bit of an uncomfortable ride and hard to hear when we walked with the guide around on foot. But the attractions were... More

Costs around £70 per person for a 12-13 hour trip on a coach out of Bucharest to visit Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov. Highly recommend taking this tour as our guide Alex was exceptional and very informative about Romanian history.
