An outside view only here to review - not 100% sure you can go inside. Safe to say the architecture is stunning and the sight of the sun shining through the glass dome spectacular.

Very impressive palace, with a unique central hall. Unfortunatelly it is not a public place anymore. You may negotiate with the doorman to have a very short visit in the main lobby, which is the best part of the building.

The CEC Palace was built in 1900 and is situated on Calea Victoriei, opposite to the National Museum of Romanian History. This Palace is headquarter of CEC bank. I was impressed by the architecture of this building. We visited the Palace a long time ago. Normally you can't visit the Palace but if you ask nicely the staff they can... More

Located on victoria street, this architectural delight was built in 1900, currently the headquarters of a bank. One of the many attractions/sites to see on calea victoriei, we love just cruising up and down the street taking it all in.

I'm not sure if you can visit the palace inside, but on the outside is absolutely gorgeous. If you're passionate about architecture, I'm sure it will take you at least one hour to look at this building and all the details that impressed me so much.

Many buildings in Bucharest were influenced by close ties between Romania and France, in the late 19th Century. You'll want a picture of the CEC Palace...and you'll understand why Bucharest was once called a 'little Paris'. Sadly the building is not open for touring, but there is plenty to do nearby.

This is a lovely French-style building, which is not accessible to the public for a visit. Furthermore, this time around, the building looked rather dirty from the outside with its walls covered with black dirt and stains. They definitely should do a better work in preserving it. Still, it's really easy on the eye.
