place is nicely located and generally quite quiet, event when people visit. it's not what you would expect from such a cathedral, as it looks more like a regular church. still, worth the visit

Yet another gorgeously amazing church building in the heart of the city. Gorgeous decorations inside and out. The inside is just ablaze with gold leaf The mosaics on the outside are stunningly beautiful and just gleam in the sunlight. You've got to see this.

This is one of the churches to visit in Bucharest, not many tourist around, very few actually. Mostly local women and monks, amazing paintings and icons, loved how peaceful is this place.
This large church sits atop a big hill. It is decorated much like all of the Orthodox churches in the city, with painted walls and ceilings and gold detailing. There is a container of drinking water outside, which is nice and unusual. Worthwhile to visit.
