Myself and a friend followed the recommendations of a couple of tour guides we had taken day trips with and came here for an early evening meal. The restaurant was quiet so we were seated immediately, without a reservation. The service was very friendly and the waiters explained various things about the menu, but also chatted to us, which was... More

The restaurant in the old restored inn offers fantastic authentic Romanian food. The cabbage rolls with polenta and papanasi doughnuts for desert are not to be missed! One of the best meals of the trip!

Very nice place, clean, good food for a medium to high budget. The atmosphere is traditionally romanian also foods and drinks, but you can also eat international cuisine if you want so.

During our free walking tour we visited many interesting attractions/sites. This building in particular was a stand out for us. This inn was built in 1808, for weary travellers to rest. Over the years its has undergone many incarnations. After extensive restoration it is currently housing a traditional Romanian restaurant.

Located in Bucharest downtown, in Unirii square, just near Unirea shopping center. It is a very old building. After refurbishing looks fresh. I've been there for a company dinner celebrating end of year, just before Christmas. The large saloon was to LH side of main entrance, upstairs. Fresh and tasty traditional Romanian food and traditional Romanian wine. nice staff. Clean.... More

Visited here for lunch after having a positive experience 2 years ago. The food was very nice for authentic Romanian dishes and we both enjoyed our soups + mains. Will visit again.

Warm atmosphere, good food, good wine, local color, friendly staff. Not all of them understand english, but they make a good effort. Service was a bit slow but it was the first day of the year and the place was crowded. Nice experience.
