Interesting old inn

It used to be an inn where people stayed en route and changed horses. It is now a restaurant but worth seeing from an architectural perspective.

This has got to be one of the most ancient establishments in town. In over 35 years, the place has not changed a bit. The inner courtyard with the wooden walls is exactly how I remembered it while visiting here as a kid.

We had a couple of meals at Hanul lui Manuc so far, one lunch outside and one dinner inside. The food for both was fantastic quality as you would expect from the City Grill Group... I am so pleased that this place is now open again and they're doing an amazing job with it! After Caru' cu Bere which is... More

Visited as we were in the area but felt there wasn't enough interpretation of the building. It was disappointing that the restaurant in the centre of the building meant it was difficult to appreciate the architectural beauty of the building.

Pretty enough building with an historic past. Restaurant and wine bar inside. Atmospheric enough but not really exceptional.

Rather expensive food (in comparison to the other local restaurants, but still cheap), beuatiful location. This is a must/eat restaurant because of its unique historic value in Bucharest. The cellar rooms get very, very hot (air condition absolutely inefficient). The waiters speak poor English and know little about wines. Better make a reservation for dinner.

Probably the first hotel in Bucharest, the Manuc Inn is a must see in the Romanian capital. Also, a good place to sample Romanian traditional food.

This place is full of history and has such a cool story. However, the service was quite poor and the food was average.

We had 3 different main dishes, each tasty and filling. The polenta was of note in that it was topped with items that added to its flavour and texture. Get the dessert
