In front of the theater is one of the more surprising modern sculptures you are likely to see. The building of the theater itself is impressive and modern, but the sculpture gets the rating - it takes a while to take it all in.

Yes, there are a couple of musical/dance performances in the National Theater's repertory. Currently I can recommend you ArtOrchestra (a musical improvisation with a funny story) and L'Om Dada (a modern dance show). They do not have any dialogues so knowing Romanian is not required.
