Entry - I purchased a 50 RON ticket that lasted 7 days and got me unlimited entry into four art museums. It also meant that I could go back and revisit and also go out for lunch half way through my visit etc. Photography allowed. The NMA is a stunning museum - wonderful comprehensive collection from Medieval through to early... More

I only visited the Romanian art side and found it very interesting - particularly the old religious art. I appreciated that the explanations were available in English. Only thing is that the Museum is not very modern - no good book shop, hard to find the toilets, no cafe that I could see. But the art itself is great!

The National museum of art is a very impressive building with excellent exhibition. You should give yourself a couple of hours in order to view the main exhibitions.

Although far from being as famous as the Louvre in Paris or the British Museum in London, the MNAR is the Gallery of European Art has several pieces by well known universal masters (El Greco, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Monet, Sisley, Pissaro etc.), and the Romanian galleries are full of precious Old and Modern art. If you have more time you... More

Less than 2 Euros, many art piece, large portion of famous artists, nice presentations- and no visitors! We felt like in a private tour, the guards explaining and directing us. A good 2 hours visit.
