The main building of National Bank of Romania was constructed in 1890 on Lipscani street and today is one of the most gorgeous attractions in the old town. Lovely architecture.

This is yet another lovely building in Lipscani. Unfortunately, during our visit, there were no guided tours available, so all we could do is appreciate the fine building from the outside for a couple of minutes.

During our guided tour of the bank, we learnt that the bank consists of two palaces joined by a sky lit passage. The old part is very beautiful inside with a grand staircase, the highlight for us was the boardroom. Highly recommend visiting.

Lovely palace. Formal during the daytime and gorgeous at nightime. Perfect theme for any picture shot.

The interior is very nice and classy. There are actually two palaces with a hallway that connects them. You can also see old bills and some treasury. Totally recommend.
