Well worth visiting this little gem of a museum. Lots of interesting maps arranged in different rooms by geographical area. The large military map of Moldova is a highlight!

We arrived 45 minutes before closing time so the guards were not pleased to let us in. The museum has 3 floors of walls covered in ancient maps, truly a treasure. I was disappointed that the few explanations posted throughout were not in English. Would...More

The Museum is located in a picturesque neighbourhood of downtown Bucharest with its streets named after capital cities of the world. Collection of maps is impressive in term of its number and diversity. Really a winner for the lazy weekend vibe.
