Impressive statue in Revolutionary Square. The oblique nearby remembering those killed here during the uprising is very important. However, parts of this monument have been destroyed by vandals.

On our walk along Calea Victoriei we came across this impressive statue of King Carol I, first king of Romania, mounted on a horse. It's in front of the University Library. Worth a visit.

The monument of King Carol I is placed just to the opposite of the National Art Gallery and is a place that you can easily enjoy after or before you have been to the Art Museum.

Located in the front of Royal Palace, in a very special historical place, it is a must to visit, The statue is a recent monument which resembles the original, which was destroyed by communists.
