Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was very interesting to know more about our neighbor country and we highly recommend taking this tour.
We were only for 1 day in Belgrade and it was so very cold. Teodora was amazing and she managed to show us very interesting places, which are defining the city, giving us interesting details. Her English is perfect and she was very positive and funny. We learned a lot about the Serbian history, culture and gastronomy.
She answered every question of us and even gave us food and restaurant recommendations. We tried one of the restaurants after the tour and it was really amazing and the food so delicious.
Thank you, Teodora, for being such an exceptional professionalist.

Aleksander took us on the Once Upon a Time in Yugoslavia tour while we were visiting Belgrade. He was an excellent and professional guide. He was gracious and accommodating to our 4 boys, ages 6-13, who were along for the tour. The tour was fascinating because our guide was able to unlock the time of Tito for us through his knowledge and the sights we visited. This was also the most affordable of 4 tours we took while in Serbia, and that was not reflected in the quality or the amount of time we toured. Two thumbs up!

My heart was truly touched by the incredible experience I had in Belgrade, all thanks to the amazing City Centre and History tours led by the passionate and knowledgeable guide, Miljana. Her storytelling was so captivating that I felt like I was living in the city's past. And the moment we stood in awe at the majestic St Sava Temple, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of reverence.
What made it even better was the seamless organization by the company. Every detail was taken care of, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the journey without any worries.
These tours were the absolute highlights of my trip four day trip, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone visiting Belgrade. Trust me, you won't regret it. Thanks for creating such cherished memories that will stay with me forever!

This tour was ok but not the greatest I have experienced. We saw many of the main sites in the city centre along with a couple of hidden places, but our guide, Goran (I believe this was his name) wasn't my favourite. Sometimes he didn't tell us much about the attraction we were at, instead talking about other vague aspects, and as the tour continued he seemed to lose interest a little bit and so I think struggled to keep people focused. Overall, this was a tour that was worth going on, but I would say better free tours might be available in the city.

We had a great tour around the city center with Milana. She's such a great storyteller and her charisma and sense of humour make the 2,5h tour a completely light experience. I'd recommend it for anyone going to Belgrade just to understand some important points of the city and it's culture to start with.

Overall the tour was great. Dušan explained and showed the landmarks of the city, and he knows a great deal, but need to say and point out that had to hear misogynistic comments such as, when talking about Silicon Valley, in a joke mood he said "I'd like to have a Porsche so I wouldn't be working as a tour guide and be in the coast with cocktails and girls around me". So as I see it, women are to be consumed as cocktails. The one just mentioned and other comments, we should give them a thought; I guess it's the whole culture though.

I went on the Novi Sad day tour with Alexander in Sept 2020, and it was a perfect, much needed day trip from the big city of Belgrade. I came back feeling very refreshed! There is peace and quiet in the monasteries and churches, and it was very interesting to see different styles of churches all coexisting together. Novi Sad itself is a really cute town with eclectic restaurants and it was enjoyable to sit, have a coffee, and enjoy the views. Trying the unique wine was also a fun experience since it tastes so different from other kinds of wine. I loved the time being out of the hustle and bustle of the city and learning more about the history of Serbia. I highly recommend this trip as an entertaining and relaxing day out! Also, Belgrade Free Tours was very responsive to my emails/WhatsApps even though I inquired about this tour the day before. I appreciate the level of communication there, and it is a professional company with knowledgeable guides.

This is an absolute must when you first get to Belgrade! This company has many different types of free tours that will help you fall in love with the city, regardless of any negative impressions one may have. It's a perfect way to spend a few hours, and the City Center Tour tops my list of things to do in Belgrade.
We've done similar tours all around the world, and Dušan was one of the best tour guides we've ever had! He was funny, charismatic, intelligent, a talented storyteller, and truly cared that everyone on our tour had the best tour and best time in Belgrade possible. He showed us all over the city while giving some great recommendations as well.

The tour was fantastic. Our guide Dusan was polite, friendly, Knowledgeable and really funny. He walked us through various neighborhoods and visit-worthy places explaining the historical significance as well as gave us some really useful tips about local restaurants and cafes etc. He also kept everything funny and engaging while being informative.
I would a 100% recommend this tour if you are in Belgrade and are looking for a starting point to get to know things better.
