Mistic place. Some Christans saying that bas Devil power is there inside the church, because od frescas with Demon, by famous painter Vrubel. Colours are bit dark inside. Church was build in th 19-th centure. Must-visit place.

Very nice place. Beautifully decorated walls and ceilings. We were there during the prayer. The cathedral choir was amazing. Entrance is free. Did not ask if one can take photo. Out of respect for churchgoers we hadn't even thought of intruding by fhotographing. Lovely place

Yes this is one not to be missed. Amazing frescos and mosaics to be seen. As in all Cathedrals you are not allowed to take any pictures. Very beautyful.

Вокруг...More

Fantastic interior in a serene setting. It must be unforgettable during Palm Sunday. Frequented by locals, young and old. Visited throughout the day by believers. A peaceful retreat forgetting all our worries. Even for non-believers a must see.

The interior of this Cathedral is purely STUNNING. The location merely a block from the Kyiv Hilton Hotel andwalking distance from the Opera are well worth the visit.

Our flight was early-we passed by just after 7am. It was positively transcendental; the priest was singing whilst other priests and church goers joined in. The decorations are extraordinary whilst the exterior is beautiful and balanced. Try to go when there is a service to...More

We came upon this place by surprise while walking through Kiev. The sound of church bells drew us in the direction of St. Volodymyr. It is a beautiful cathedral in a different style than many other religious sites you will see in Kiev. The frescos...More

It looks pretty cool on the outside, but I honestly wasn't expecting much on the inside; boy was I wrong! It is one of the prettier and more interesting churches I've ever popped in. It had lots of cool paintings, people lighting candles, and a...More

I think it was about 50 UAH or so. But you could always ask someone from visitors to help you with translation, most young people in Kyiv speak English
