Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the most influential architects of his day Vladislaw Horodetsky ( 1863 - 1930 ) was an architect whose work encompassed structures in the Russian Empire and Second Polish Republic but were his most beautiful work is located is in Kiev with structures such as House Of Chimaeras,St Nicholas Roman Catholic Cathedral and the National Museum Of Ukraine Building, just three stunning examples of this very talented architects work,he died in Tehran in 1930 and left a rich legacy of his work.
This monument shows the great man enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, makes for some great photographic opportunities and a perfect selfie photo, you can sit by the aclaimed architect.
Architect Horodetsky Monument is easy to locate, walk down Khreshchatyk Street till you reach the arch and cut down Kyiv Pasazh which is a side street famous for it's high end shopping outlets, it's a monument well worth checking out if your in the area.

First, TripAdvisor has the location wrong, but search for it and you can find it. Horodetsky was responsible for the House of Chimeras. Have a seat with the architect- great for photos!

This statue is OK to check out if you're in the area. You can get some cool photos with it. It is located right off of the main street. But I wouldn't make a special trip just for this.

This architect was responsible for the House of Chimeras along with other masterpieces. A friendly statue who you can sit down with and he is quite popular with visitors. Khreshchatyk Street is popular for tourists and locals.

the fellow who designed and built the fantastic House of Chimeras, which is up the street a ways from this monument. One of the many audience-participation-friendly monuments in Kiev, and perhaps the most charming

On the afternoon tour we stopped by the sculpture of Mr Horodetsky and many of us took photos of each other sharing the table with him.
