Loved the surroundings of this place. Very peaceful and surrounded with green trees. The view of river from this place is good.

Very impressive up close. This statue sits in a large park area along the river with many other things to see while there.

We passed this monument on the hop on/ hop off bus and it's very impressive. The guide said it was supposed to form part of a waterfall but it never happened. Apparently it is larger that the Statue of Liberty. A cool sight to see.

Great place to hang out after midnight, bring a few beers and sit on a tank singing folksongs is an unforgettable experience, probably ok during the day as well.

Three of us visited this huge monument, caught a taxi to the site and also visited a museum, the surrounds are dotted with huge carvings of soldiers. The structure dominates the landscape.
