This was one of the sites we wanted to visit most in Kiev and we were not disappointed. Whichever way you look at the statue its truly breathtaking. Further the statues and reliefs around it are also worth taking time to look at. Another plus is the view over the city.

Amazing place. Some difficulty however to understand everything in the museum when you don't speak ukrainian. But the pictures say more than words!

This is worth visiting. It is spectacular. There are other museums near it so take the time to visit all of them. This attraction just takes a few minutes, but the other things around it could take half a day.

The statue itself is a remembering of a Soviet time. I would not recommend it separately, but the complex of museums, monuments, and parks around the statue is definitely worth to visit.

This stature is situated near several museums of the Second World War including weapon parks and monuments. The view from the hill of the complex is on the left benk of Dnipro could be interesting for the guests of Kiev. Actually you can combine this visit with Lavra and its caves because they are pretty close

Great view offered across the city of Kiev. Impressive displays of military equipment plus the military museums in the grounds beneath the statue.

The real winner here is the museum underneath the statue.. It features the Ukraine's experiences in WW2 and is almost interactive in the respect that you walk amid the exhibits. I would say that it is one of the most effective museums I have ever visited (and I visit a lot). Don't miss this !
