Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Elitist private property. An accessible by the public despite being marked as an open road. Adjacent to a parking lot that will trap you into a payment. Avoid this entire peninsula like the plague. There's nothing here that you can't find at a nice indoor shopping mall.

We decided at the last minute to get off here from the hop on hop off bus. We just decided to stretch our legs. This marina reminded us of Monte Carlo as the boats are simply stunning and the view of the skyline is glorious! We had a pizza at one of the restaurants and then ice cream at the ice cream shop. There's an area where you can go near the water and take some photos. Really nice and relaxing.

There are a number of great restaurants here along with shopping, several bars, and yacht harbors. One of our favorite restaurants here is El Myelle

Great place to just hang out for a few hours. The Flamenco Shopping Plaza is at the end of Amador Causeway. The strip of shops are selling souvenirs, crafts and men's tropical clothing and an ice cream shop. It's perfect for a shopping stroll after lunch at one of the excellent restaurants or cafe's nearby.

We stopped here after traveling on the Amador causeway as part of our panoramic tour of Panama City for the views, shops, and taking pictures with the Panama sign.

We got off the Hop-on-Hop-off bus here...but other than a free drink (which you can get with your HoHo coupon), we couldn't figure out what to do there on a rainy day.

Once we were docked in the safe harbor of Flamingo Island those of us who chose to explore hopped aboard a small dingy that carried us to a bustling commercial district with another small harbor opposite ours. Flamingo Island is one of four small islands called the Causeway Islands and are linked to the mainland by the Amador Causeway made from rock extracted during the excavations of the Panama Canal. It is a popular mooring spot for yachts and fishing boats who, as it turned out, were cheek and jowl with us in the harbor.
Three of us set off to explore the harbor on the other side, the park, the playground where we wove around all the summer commercial bicycles that peddled families on the wide sidewalks. I had left my money on the boat so I couldn’t be tempted by the many sidewalk or restaurant treats that were offered but I did have my camera with me and had fun photographing the smiling faces and beautiful views of the Panama City skyline across the bay. I was also delighted to spot a beautiful Scarlet Rum Tanager, and a Great Crested Flycatcher in the trees on our walk along the water.

By visiting Flamenco Island, one will get some great and unique views around Panama City. One will find some restaurants and other shops over here as well. Very highly recommended for those travelers who like great views and those who would like to click some great photos.

Writing a review to give a shout-out to a fish "restaurant" not on Trip Advisor. It is right across from Lenos and Carbones on Flamenco Island at the very end of the Amador Causeway (it appeared on our credit card as "Fish Lovers". It's a family place--something like a fish shack. Very friendly and cheap. We had a super-good ceviche and some of the best calamari we have ever had. Overlooking the water. Highly recommend
