Our trolley guide made a special stop here so that we could this spot & explained the signifance of the statue & location . If you get a chance , it's a great 10 minute stop but worth it be sure to note the two flags . Unfortunately most tours don't include this highway stop

Small park. The fields are terrible and need to be refurbished by the county. The trails are nice and there is a good size picnic area. There are also beach volleyball courts, which not many parks have.

This park can get crowded with folks utilizing the ball fields, but often times you may find yourself being the only one there in the off season. They have expanded the trail system that takes you off the paved pathways into the surrounding forest. It's very nice for a quick hike. Deer are almost always present, and for a brief... More
