About
St Helena is a very special diving destination, with something to offer all types of divers and lots to do in-between dives. Most diving is on the sheltered side of the island, with long shallow (10-20m deep) rocky reefs, very little tide or current (water temperature ranges 18-25 degrees C), masses of different fish, lots of interesting macro life, some great wrecks and the potential to see some of the world’s most amazing large marine animals both above and under water. St Helena is also a wonderful place to learn to dive and/or develop your dive skills further. Dive Saint Helena offers of a wide variety of diving experiences and packages for all levels of diving expertise. You could be a beginner, the summer diving enthusiast, or an all-year-round professional.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dive Worldwide provided a specialist cameraman in the advertised programme: Danny C. In February, it is an excellent occasion to encounter whalesharks in the area of the island. However, if you are expecting the promised photographs and video footage of your experience from the BBC experienced cameraman, forget it! Why advertise the trip to incude the hiring of an experienced cameraman who has no intention of providing you with photography?

We had a phantastic Dive-Trip with a group from Germany in February 2020!
Very nice people on the Island and extremely good diving with lots and lots of fish (including Mantas and Whale Sharks!) and interesting wrecks in warm and clear waters. Great hiking, History and Food as well.
Thanks Craig and Keith!

I have dived all over the world but I found Craig to be one of the most patient and professional dive instructor I have met. Based out of Jamestown he has easy access to a number of dive sites and his enthusiasm for the sport is infectious. Craig ensures you have the best experience possible, be it undertaking a fun dive or further instruction to hone your skills. The diving is interesting be it on one of the many local shallow wrecks or reefs there is plenty to see. If you want to learn to dive, Saint Helena is the place and Craig is the man you want to teach you.

Craig is very professional and we went out on his relatively small boat ( not too many people in the water with the sharks). All equipment provided and at this time of year virtually guaranteed sitings. We saw a huge aggregation of more than 290 whale sharks. Those who swam with them were blown away by the experience, it was still amazing watching them from the boat

Extremely good value

I also swam with the whale sharks with Craig and Kieth—WOW! Experience of a lifetime!! Both Craig and Kieth always went out of there way to make all of my excursions with them safe and enjoyable. Dive Saint Helena is a top notch operation!!

Craig is a really great guy and a superb dive instructor - careful, clear, calm and very knowledgeable. Best instructor I have worked with over a load of different island sites. Equipment is excellent quality, dive shop is steps away from the bay and there are a wide selection of dive sites. Absolutely brilliant!

Doug and I spent several days with Craig and Keith who run an outstandingly professional and friendly outfit. We scuba dived, snorkeled, fished for tuna and wahoo and swam with the whale sharks. They went out of their way to make our trips a special experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you guys for a most memorable holiday. Wendy Cleland. Cape Town

Craig I can't thank you (& Keith) enough for the amazing dives we did.
Not only the dives but the trip to go see the Dolphins, the fishing trips with the boys and in general just making us feel welcome on the Island.
You made the 9 dives amazing, your knowledge of the environment & sites, the safety first attitude and just the general relaxed atmosphere you created was really nice. We had some amazing wreck dives, interesting swim throughs and abundance of fish life.
It was great to also meet the local divers and enjoy warm soup with them after some of the dives.
Your equipment is in immaculate condition, the majority of equipment (except your own wetsuit ;-) ) is brand new.
We really appreciate the time & effort you and Keith put in to making us feel at home & extra effort in accommodating the boys on other trips as well.
We missed the Wale Sharks (December might have been a bit to early), hopefully we can return again for that experience.
I can definitely recommend diving with Craig of Into the Blue!

Had a limited time on St H before heading to Ascension, but was able to make the most of it by getting a five with Craig. We did a wreck dive (the frontier). Cost was £20, plus £5 for equipment rental if needed. Great dive!!

I dived with Craig of Into the Blue twice in January and also swam with whale sharks from their sports fishing boat.

The diving was extraordinarily good and Craig helped me get the most of it, The dive boat and equipment were first rate and Craig was able to take me to new dive sites that gave me fresh experiences of the St Helena marine life. He was unfailingly warm and friendly whilst maintaining safe diving standards.'

It was a bit early in the season to go looking for Whale Sharks but after assiduously searching we found Whale Sharks and I had one of those wildlife encounters that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I have no doubt that Into the Blue will give you a marine experience you will never forget.
