So well done, the paintings were excellent and told the story well. I expected to stay 15 mins and stayed over an hour.

Such a professional, beautifully illustrated cyclorama depicting how Norfolk Island came about, along with a snapshot of how the various original families making up Norfolk today are still a part of the rich history today

This gives a good history of the island. It is beautifully painted and presented. Well worth a visit. We had it all to ourselves, so we didn't feel that we had to rush through.

To get a quick, illustrative and comprehensove overview of the local interpretation of the history of the mutiny on the 'Bounty', go to Cyclorama. My only reservation was that the exhibition appears to promote a view that Bligh's verbal abuse of Fletcher Christian was more than a reason and was possibly an excuse or justification for the mutineers' treacherous conduct.

Walking around this gallery allowed you to be almost immersed in the story of the Bounty. The artwork was astounding and well worth seeing. My travelling companion thought it was overpriced at $15 but I felt that it was unlike anything I'd seen before so worth paying that price.
