Calm water, playground, Sandbar restaurant, and the best views...no other Nantucket beach has as much to offer as Jetties! We’ve even walked with our pup in our arms out to the sandbar at low tide...so fun!!

This is probably not the best beach in Nantucket but it was within walking distance of our hotel-so it was good enough. The beach is a lovely place to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax on a sunny day. Although mid-September, there were a few people swimming.

We had a great walk up and down Jetties Beach admiring the many shells and birds and marveling at the folks entering the frigid waters! Two of them were in full wet suits with gear searching for lost treasures and the other gent was in a swinsuit! We were freezing just looking at him standing in the water to his knees. …
