We took the bus from downtown Nantucket ($3 in cash each way) and it was an easy 20 minute ride to the town of Sconset. There's a cute general store and a public bathroom at the bus stop, and it's a quick walk to the beach (that has portapoties). It's a beautiful beach, but the surf is pretty strong so not great for swimming. A very nice way to spend a few hours!…

The best beachside takeaway is right there by the parking lot. We took the bus to this iconic beach. A perfect bathing suit day.
