White Heron is Nantucket's Professional Repertory Theatre. A not-for-profit theatre company, first formed in New York in 2005, by Lynne Bolton and Earle Gister. This is a stunningly beautiful new theater with interesting programming. We were fortunate to see SeaWife there. Wonderful art in the hallway, very elegant with high production values. Would like to go back!

Didn't know what to expect from a theatre experience in Nantucket, but we were floored. Only about 150 seats. Well kept, clean, adequate room for an above average sized man. Seawife was a joy! Love, pain, and love again. Wide music range. Folk, blues, rock....More

Great show from NYC! A whaling story in Nantucket-where else? The musicians/actors were all very talented. I love the part where they all sway as if actually on the ship. Music is lively. White Heron Theatre is a wonderful new facility.

Enchanting intimate theater. Clearly the seven collaborative actor/musicians have an undefinable gift. From the squak of the bird eminating from the cello to the sound of the ocean furies to the love songs these young professionals grace the stage with immeasurable presence.

We saw The Underpants at this wonderful theatre. This Equity production was hilarious and the acting company was top rate. The White Heron recently opened its new building. It's lovely.
