Nice park and I enjoy sitting by the fountain and just relax. Nice way to take advantage of the sale ladies to buy souvenir. Stop by and visit the church, palace and near by restaurant s.

In the heart of Antigua with lots of bars and cafe's (great coffee) nearby. Everyone seems to use this as the meeting point.

Nice and well kept place. Superb people watching. Nice cafes around the square. Popular with locals and tourists although Antigua is not a overly touristy place.

Its central, its a great location to meet other people, but with all the vendors, peddlers, tourists, and people it is not a nice place to sit and relax.

It's cleaned every morning. Feels safe, vendors will set up, restaurants and cafe's all around. Shady spots with a bench here and there.

You'll find that most places in Central America will take U.S. currency but you will most likely get a better conversion rate if you have the countries local currency ( Guatemala Quetzal)
