My hotel is on Primorsky Blvd and have been enjoying this lively, treelined boulevard along the Black Sea coast of Odesa (Odessa--if one prefers the Russian version). Beautiful buildings, lights and impromptu dances make this a pleasant strolling place.
This could have been a nice walking space, but for some reason the locals hung up a bunch of colorful lights, even in the summer, making it look cheap and tasteless. Occasional bands playing loud music don't help the atmosphere either.
I read all the great reviews and was excited to see it. But there was nothing there. I was there in October so not sure if it was the time of year or if another reviewer is right that the construction is just making it...More
Please be watchful of guys with pigeons who will stop you and get you to pose with these birds on your arms and head. If that's your thing sort out a price first, I got stung
