Review of: All-inclusive Gastro Blue Cave Tour
Worth the money. Pia kept us topped up with drinks all day and very friendly. Lunch was lovely on our own private table. Weather was too rough for blue cave but they took us to green cave instead. Very welcoming and visited some great spots, small islands and quiet beaches. At Hvar make sure you climb up the hill to the fortress - great views. Cheers, James…

Split Sea Tour was truly amazing. We did a private charter which was the highlight of the vacation. The owner Angelo met us in the morning with a nice breakfast which was very fresh and well selected. Angelo introduced us to Tino the captain and Pia the first mate. The boat's name was the Saso Mange. Because of the weather our original tour had to be altered because of high waves making it not possible to enter certain caves. The crew placed safety first for all destinations which we were in total agreement. Our new charter route did involve most of the original destinations with a couple of new stops along the way. During the ride to each destination, Tino was always charting a course for the smoothest waters and Pia always made sure to point out the highlights of areas that we were passing by going towards our next destination. Every location was absolutely beautiful. Halfway through the journey, we stopped to have lunch at Dida Luka restaurant where Chef Luka prepared what had to be the most delicious fish dish that we have ever tasted. After a couple more stops we made the journey back to split where we just relaxed having some fruits and wine. Split Sea Tours went above and beyond our expectations. I will certainly be using them again in the future.…

DO THIS TOUR INSTEAD OF THE READILY AVAILABLE BLUE CAVE TOURIST-AIMED TRIPS. This was hands down the BEST choice we made on our honeymoon to Split, Croatia. We had originally been looking for a tour of the Blue Cave, but found this instead after a ton of research. Turns out, many of those blue cave tours are completely underwhelming - the cave is often packed, and the weather conditions don’t always allow you to go in. This 5 island tour we did instead allowed us to stop at the island of Vis and walk through a WW2 military tunnel (fun fact for my Mamma Mia fans - the second movie was filmed on this island!!), stop at several swimming holes, have a private home cooked lunch, and hike up to a military fortress on the island of Hvar. Every part of this day was magical, and we could tell how genuinely considerate Pia and Tino were to make sure we had the best day. As soon as they found out the weather conditions weren’t ideal for the Blue Cave, they said trust them, they would give us a better tour and we wouldn’t be disappointed. And WOW were they right. We did several tours during our 10 day trip in Split which were all amazing, but Pia and Tino’s DeLuxe 5 Island Tour was the best of the best. Pia and Tino were unbelievable hosts - seriously, can we be their best friends?! Pia gave us wonderful personal recommendations for the rest of our trip, and was so knowledgeable on every topic we asked about. This tour was the perfect balance of organized but open - they took us to each place as promised, but let the group choose the order. When we stopped Hvar, she gave us several suggestions then let us go off and regroup as we’d like. An sweet anecdote to show just how wonderful Pia is: I can’t swim, but it was torture watching everyone jump into the gorgeous water at the several swimming stops we made. Pia very sweetly offered me a life jacket and floaty kick-board, and kept me on a rope so I could float around without any worry at all. Who else would do this??? She encouraged me the perfect amount to make me feel comfortable, and I’m so grateful for that experience! My husband’s favorite part was one of the swimming holes we went to that had the chance to swim to someone’s summer home and sign a guest book they leave out. I doubt this is something most people will ever have the option or ability to do, but Pia and Tino’s connection to the area made it possible! A once in a lifetime experience, truly. The private home-cooked meal was delicious, with an amazing view of the water. We felt like VIPs! Plus all inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all day on the boat and a yummy pastry breakfast. Perfection. Make sure to wear your bathing suit and bring a coverup since the boat can get windy. Have a ton of sunscreen on hand. Water is readily available on the boat, and there is a bathroom. Pia and Tino make a fantastic team - we felt 100% safe, entertained, taken care of, and happy the whole time. She even made sure to take one of my favorite photos of us from the trip! I could rant on and in about how great this was, but bottom line is it was worth the slightly more expensive price tag for a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you, Pia and Tino!!!!…

This outing was the highlight of our trip. Incredibly personable staff in Pia and Tino, beautiful locations we would never have visited otherwise, and an amazing lunch. I am so glad we booked the trip.
