This was our first cruise ever and we were totally spoiled by Captain Jure and his amazing crew! Our cruise on the Olimp was the experience of a lifetime. Our cruise director provided informative daily maps of each stop along with personally guided tours. Our daily swim stops at each island were absolute perfection... loved the swim platform! The food was exceptional [would love your dressing recipe for the Caprese Salad!], and our friendly waiters always had great suggestions for dinners off the boat. We were pleasantly surprised at how much storage there was in our cabin and how extremely comfortable it was. Our Olimp Cruise is definitely one of our favorite vacations ever! We made friends from all over the world on the intimate 36 person super yacht. Thanks for the amazing sunrises, sunsets, gorgeous swim stops, and overall attention to our every need...we loved every moment!

We had an AMAZING trip with Sail Croatia on the Queen Jelena, travelling from Split Return South, October 2023. The boat was beautiful, food amazing, staff awesome!
We were fortunate to have fantastic weather and enjoyed our daily swim stops. All the stops were amazing. We had a great group of passengers, and really enjoyed everyone's company. GREAT trip all around. Thanks, Sail Croatia!

Trip of a lifetime. 95% of everything was great. The views. The hosts. The local hospitality. The e-bikes. The logistics. The food.
My only suggestion if you go - DON'T get a cabin below deck. Get an upper deck cabin. Friends had significant sewer gas odors backing up into their cabin, and I really don't feel that Sail Croatia management took the complaint seriously.

Hi Ron, thank you for your 4-star review. We are happy to hear that the cruise, including the views, hosts, local hospitality, e-bikes, logistics, and food, met your expectations. Our Director was really pleased that you reached out to him which enabled him to communicate with you directly and we encouraged your friends to do the same, however we didn't hear back from them. We would like to highlight that we take health and safety very seriously. The ships are registered and certified through the Croatian Register of Shipping which is responsible for the certification of the plumbing systems onboard and air extraction systems in the bathrooms and onboard the ship. We also record and monitor incident reports to ensure any ongoing problems are managed carefully. When there is a problem we always ask our guests to speak to a member of staff and our reps onboard who will resolve the problem. In the event we are not able to resolve a problem our Customer Care team are available to support our customers as we aim to always ensure our guests are happy. Thank you again for your review Ron as it really was a pleasure having you, Tricia and the rest of your group onboard with us this season!

From start to finish we had a great holiday. The boat was gleaming throughout, the crew was friendly and the food was excellent. Just what we needed to fuel up for the hikes. Our guides (Mate and Andro) were kind, helpful, informative and both had a great sense of humour. The hikes were good fun, challenging at times but the the spectacular views made it all worthwhile. We met lovely people from around the world. We would definitely do this again.

Fabulous experience with great crew & excellent guides. We hiked each morning then enjoyed sea swim stops or explored the local island we docked at. The food is very good & as a Vegan & Vegetarian we were catered for very well. Stunning locations, lovely hot weather & a chance to experience parts of each island that typical tourist does not. Crystal clear water & plenty of fish to watch. Our below decks cabin was tiny but had everything we needed & was very quiet, even when moored next to other boats. I would advise walking poles if you can bring as the terrain is rough & I found them invaluable both up & down. I would definitely recommend this trip & would consider another with different islands next time.

9 friends gathered from across North America in Split to board a Sail Croatia vessel for a week of boat and biking through the Dalmatian Islands. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in good hands with our amazing guides Ivica and Andro. They anticipated and took care or our every need. The balance of daily cycles, free time, delicious meals and refreshing swims was perfect. I appreciate the care Sail Croatia took to curate a great group of participants with similar values from around the world. We enjoyed getting to know each other and really had fun! The only down side was that our boat, the Marija Magdalena, was a tired old girl with lots of mechanical issues including plumbing, AC, and enough outlets to charge our batteries and tech equipment. Sail Croatia was more than fair in offering those most affected with a reduction on their travel fee. Overall, loved this experience!

Better than I even imagined! The intimacy of this small yacht was perfect for making new friends and getting to know the amazing staff who pampered us in all ways. The itinerary was well thought-out, our guide Stephen was a hoot and a great historian as well....be sure to see his hand-drawn maps! The food was excellent with beautiful presentation and quite a lot of it. Our room was also beautifully appointed and really spacious. I've recommended this trip to everyone I speak to!

We are trying to decide between the sail and hike trip and the "regular" Explorer trip. We enjoy hiking but don't want to lose the opportunity to explore the cities during time in port. Can someone advise on how much time in port you have on sail and hike vs Explorer? Thanks

Hi Michael!
For both cruises you will reach your destination around lunchtime where you will overnight - so you have the whole day in a new city! During this time you are free to explore as you wish! The hikes on our Hike Cruise are around 2-3 hours long, and after the hike you will also have time to explore the destination you’re in. The main difference between the two is that our Hike Cruise offers an organised group hiking tour to explore the ins and outs of the locations you visit and on our Explorer Cruises guests explore at their leisure. Where in the Split harbor does it depart from? The Marina on the SW entrance to the harbor or on the East side by the Jadrolinja ferries?

Hi,2 questions. We are a couple aged 60 -64 would ine of these cruises be suitable for us ?
How are things now regarding Covid. I wouldnt like to have to wear face coverings,social distance etc. as I feel it would spoil the enjoyment

I would definitely recommend an Elegance Cruise which is our most luxurious cruising experience aimed at couples and mature travellers looking for a relaxing holiday. Guests cruise onboard our custom-built small ships that feature twin share cabins (double or twin beds) with private ensuites and air conditioning, and generous salon and deck spaces to ensure the highest quality comfort onboard. Included are 2 daily meals which consist of a buffet breakfast and 3 course lunch, as well as 2 evening meals which are our Captain’s Dinner Evening with authentic Croatian entertainment and a Local Village Dinner. On top of this you will also get Return Airport Transfers, a dedicated Tour Manager and Wifi onboard.
Whilst masks aren’t mandatory onboard our cruises, we recommend bringing them, as these are required in Croatian supermarkets. We have implemented some additional health and safety procedures in order to keep our staff and guests safe, without affecting the experience onboard. We are wanting to book on the new ship, Roku, but I am worried with it be Elegance, it might be too quiet for us? We are between 39-43, (two couples). Did any one find the ages varied a lot on the Elegance cruises?

We have welcomed guests of varying ages onboard our Elegance Cruise including honeymooners, families and couples, however this experience is aimed at our mature travellers and you will often find that they make up the majority. Having said that, there are plenty of opportunities to explore Croatia as you wish whilst you’re cruising with us! Once you dock at your new location, you are free to explore the local community, discover sights and enjoy the evening scene!
We do also have our Explorer Cruise which has more sightseeing than a Navigator Cruise and less relaxing than an Elegance Cruise and may be an option. We also launched our newest vessel on Explorer, Salve Di Mare, which is our most luxurious vessel on this experience and just recently had its maiden voyage! If you have any other questions please let us know!

It really does depend on who is booking and at what time, but for the most part you will find a varied age range.

Still trying to decide which of these cruises is right for us, a couple in our early 50s. We love hiking, biking, water sports, sightseeing, wining and dining, but also want to make sure we are in a comfortable environment for our age group. At first I thought Elegance, but am thinking now that might be too quiet. Than I thought hiking or biking, but maybe those are too specialized because our main goal would be to enjoy and explore Croatia in multiple ways. So, the Explorer cruises? We,re comfortable traveling with younger passengers, but don’t want to feel out of place. Any advice?

My husband and I were in our late 40s and early 50s. We had an amazing time on our trip. We were in the middle of the age group. We were lucky, the other passengers were all active, fun and we would mix it up and go with different other guests to dinner each night. Croatia is beautiful and this was an easy, fun, and adventurous way to experience it.

Hi, the below deck cabins each have there own air conditioning which you have on all the time & can adjust to what suits you. We were very glad choosing the below deck cabin, as they are much bigger than the upper deck. We usually have had balcony cabins when cruising, so we were unsure about booking a lower deck. But after reading reviews it helped make our decision 👍
