Split is an amazing place and we really enjoyed our private tour with Oliver. His family owned a house on the wall where his mother still lives making the tour and visit even more special.

This is one of the best preserved old towns I have seen in Europe. Crowded, narrow streets, vibrant and a buzz with people and tourists from around the world, yet, maintains a sense of peace and beauty. A must see historical location.

Great for strolling around. Lots to see! Try to go away from the touristic places (markets), as there are so many nice squares, buildings etc. During the day, but also during the evening with all the lights very nice to stroll around.

A fabulous place to visit, day or night. It has so much history, through every ancient era, it is really valuable to go on a walking tour, either with a guide or with a good travel book/website directions
