Your yacht for the day! 'Nera' is an elegant 42ft sailing yacht based in Split, Croatia, and is availalbe for fully-catered day charters and evening cruises, for six guests maximum. Your Scottish skipper and chef and first mate will sail you to secluded island bays for swimming and relaxing, and will serve you a delicious three-course lunch, all the while looking after your every need. NB: Please book early to avoid disappointment, as we can only take 6 guests maximum.

When we started looking for sailing trips in Croatia, we were hesitant with all the options that were available. Look no further. This is the place! Our day trip with Sunburst Sailing was the best day of our trip and probably the best time we had in a very long time.
Lyn and Jon are the owners of the business and were the hosts of our trip. Their friendliness and passion is contagious. On the morning of our trip, Lyn sent me a text message via Whatsapp letting me know that the departure time had to be pushed by one hour to let the high winds calm down. This gesture allowed us to enjoy our morning a little more and made our trip much more comfortable as the weather cleared up really fast afterwards. Lyn and Jon are very knowledgeable about the area and will have you discover places that you would have never have access to on your own as a tourist. They are experimented sailors and we felt like they made safety a priority all along the trip while never neglecting an enjoyable moment.
From the moment we stepped on the boat, we were offered pastries and drinks. I won't describe every minute of our trip as i want to keep a hint of surprise but be assured that you will be offered tasty food and a diverse selection of drinks all day long. They are fully equipped with swimming gear and you will have plenty of time to go for a dip in one of their favorite spots!
Lyn and John are interesting and very respectable people. Do not miss the opportunity to discover the Split area along with them.
I fully recommend this experience to anyone looking for a good time alone, with friends or with family.

Lyn and John we're incredible hosts. I can't express enough how much our group enjoyed our time with them. They were quick to respond during the booking process, flexible about pickup/dropoff, and prepared a wonderful itinerary for us. The service they provided throughout our private day sail was amazing as well, such a nice treat to have a canapes, lunch, and dessert on the boat and with the constant flow of some delicious prosecco! The whole day was absolutely perfect and the highlight of our trip to Hvar. I would highly recommend sailing with Sunburst Sailing. We're already planning our next trip with them!

With everything that is going on in the world today myself and my family needed a last minute break and we chose Croatia. We planned to do very little other than relax but quite fancied some kind of boat tour so we could see more of Croatia than our villa. I am so pleased I found Sunburst Sailing. From the website to the communication to the whole experience on board the service was 5 stars.
As there was 5 of us we had the boat to ourselves which made it even more special (not that we would have minded sharing). Lyn met us at the agreed time and straight away we felt a wonderful friendly vibe. As we boarded the boat we met John and the friendliness just kept coming. Both John and Lyn make sure the tour is both fun and informative which is perfect for our group. I can't even explain to you how good the food was. I am amazed at the skills they have to prepare top class restaurant food in a relatively small kitchen. This experience is all inclusive and that means as much alcoholic and soft drinks as you like and there was certainly no scrimping going on there. If you wanted another glass of Prosecco and the bottle was finished Lyn didn't give it a second thought to pop another one open and make sure your glass was always topped up. The places we stopped at were beautiful and we were given as much time as we liked to swim and play around in the sea. The boat itself is beautiful and facilities were great and very clean.
I have seen other reviews where people have said this was the highlight of their trip and I can honestly say this was exactly the same for us. We have been back a couple of weeks and are still talking about the great time we had. Without a doubt this is a must for anyone visiting the area. You will not be disappointed!

Can’t do anything else but to recommend Sunburst Sailing and give them 5 stars! John and Lyn were so kind to organize us a lovely day in very early of the season with a short notice. The boat is beautiful, hosts are super kind and helpful plus they have some good stories to tell! Food was amazing as well as drinks. Me and my friends had so much fun and fully enjoyed our day with them, you should go sailing with them too! ;)

Sunburst Sailing is a sure thing for a luxe day out. I'm always wary of booking one-day sailing trips in Split, as there are so many junky tourist traps, but John and Lyn will spoil you from the minute they pick you up and leave you wanting for nothing. Plus you can’t beat the Nera for comfort. We met the boat in Milna (Brac) and spent a whole carefree day eating, drinking, laughing, sailing and stopping in quiet coves around Brac. They had tons of water floatation options, so even an ocean-skeptic like me could relax and enjoy the amazing Croatian waters. Our gracious hosts sailed us right back to the main marina in central Split, leaving us with full day of fond memories. Thanks John and Lyn! I look forward to seeing you aboard the Nera again.

My boyfriend and I spent a day with Lyn and John on Nera this past summer and it was a day we will never forget. Sailing around the islands outside of Split was such a treat. Snorkeling the crystal clear blue waters, enjoying a delicious seafood lunch prepared by John, and sipping on wine in the sun made for the perfect day. I HIGHLY recommend booking a day with Sunburst Sailing when you are in Split. This is a must-do!

John and Lyn were so accommodating. We made a special request of an evening sunset trip out of high season. It’s a very personable experience and we even saw dolphins! The canapés were delicious and we were never even halfway through our drinks before they were being refilled. I would recommend this to anyone visiting split looking for an enjoyable/romantic/fun trip to sea.

We had an AMAZING time on Lyn and John beautiful sailing boat. They were extremely nice and attentive. Lyn and Johan were asking us if we needed anything or if we wanted to do or see specific things like snorkeling or navigating somewhere else. What a beautiful and passionate couple. We recommend closed eyes this experience and would love to come back again. The navigation and nature were wonderful. The “canapé” and food was really good, felt like being in a floating restaurant. My two friends and I had the most amazing day on the boat with Lyn and John. We were served delicious canapés, veggie risotto, a coconut dessert and drinks throughout the entire day. We also enjoyed several stops in the most beautiful bays of Brač, which are not always accessible by car. Swimming gadgets, towels and a speaker were also provided by Lyn and John. We are still very sad that we had to leave and will definitely do this trip again when we’re back in Split! We definitely recommend this trip to anyone whether a group of friends, couples or families.

This was exactly the type of full day trip we were looking for. We wanted to see some of the islands around Split without being surrounded by tourists, both on the boat and in the water. The gracious hosts welcomed us into their floating home and we shared a great day.
Yes there is plenty of wine and the food was all prepared with care and fresh ingredients. We lucked out and got to see a person practicing on a tightrope over a secluded inlet.

However, you will need to book Nera exclusively.
