- Ben T5 contributionsLovely museum, excellent staffWe very much enjoyed our visit to the Love Stories Museum which offers a different side to Dubrovnik’s history. The staff member we met was lovely and gave us a talk about the first room, offering us local sweets and pointing out the best places to get photos as a couple in Dubrovnik. The personal items exhibition is a heart warming experience of the love stories of “ordinary people” who have submitted objects to the museum. The chance to add your own heart on the top floor and the hidden trails game in Dubrovnik are both lovely touches. We loved it!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 October 2023
- Sharon E18 contributionsHappy place to stop atI was great to visit somewhere that had nothing but happy things to share. The museum is small but well worth a visit if you have a spare half hour. The host was very gracious and welcoming. You left the museum with a warm fuzzy feeling and a spring in your stepVisited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 24 April 2024
- Nicola F4 contributionsWonderful little museum of love took my breath away and filled me with warm stuff all at once.Museum dedicated to love, what is there not to 'love' about it. Small, but full of content from personal love stories and matching artifacts, famous love stories and the top floor dedicated to etchings of visitors. I left full of hope and joy, and did shed a discrete tear or two whilst within. Just go, spend time absorbing each piece, you will not regret it.Visited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 10 May 2024
- Joanne T9 contributionsThe Power of LoveA hidden gem in Dubrovnik worth a visit. It is quirky but a visit to the museum makes you stop and think about your own personal love stories and reflect on the power of love. Some of the stories will bring a tear to your eye but you will leave smiling. Write a note to your loved one and pin it up with the thousands of other love notes.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 May 2024
- SamanthaCardiff, United Kingdom294 contributionsA sweet conceptA small museum that’s one of kind and leaves you with a smile on your face. There’s a few rooms to see and stories to read, a lot smaller than other museums near by but the same cost - but I didn’t mind at all. An hour well spent in Dubrovnik ❤️Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 May 2024
- Mel MMalta258 contributionsA feel-good museumDon't miss out on this feel-good museum in the heart of Dubrovnik. The theme is all about love, be it romantic, or platonic. People have donated stories and items about their various relationships, and I can guarantee you will leave feeling warm in your heart that true love does indeed exist.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 May 2024
- Sher JSunderland, United Kingdom1 contributionLovely little placeThis is a lovely little museum off the beaten track. When we got off the bus from babin kuk at the old town there are some steps on the right. Go down the steps and follow the path. We loved the rooms filled with objects and the love stories attached from around the world. Also the room filled with heart shaped notes, you can write a note yourself too. There are a couple of great selfie opportunities before you go up the stairs and on the top floor. The lady working there was lovely too and we came away with a free postcard. We got a reduction on the ticket price with a dubrovnik pass. Warms the cockles of your heart.Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 September 2024

It was raining, we'd had too much wine at lunch. Still it didn't redeem this random, ill curated and largely irrelevant to Dubrovnik itself 'museum' (I think display would be more appropriate). The only interesting room was one on films made in Dubrovnik (tangentially linked to on screen love interest therein), showing which bit was where in a selection of scenes from Game of Thrones. As it happened, we'd been to see a small but beautiful Dali exhibition for the same entry fee that very day, so you could say it had quite some competition. But even if we hadn't, this random selection of photos, memories, love anecdotes and (horrors) post it notes from visitors was a crap excuse for an exhibition, and a crap execution of it.

We went to Love Storie museum on a rainy afternoon after having passed the museum a few days before and thought its so cute that we had put it on our to do list.
The museum has several floors with different topics but showing love stories of famous couples and their struggles as well as random couples from all over the world and how they found or fell in love with each other.
I think its a beautiful collection and warms the heart to see in which unique way the universe works sometimes :)

The founder of the museum was very sweet and explained that his mission is to spread positivity and love! My favorite experience was the first room with love stories related to Croatian traditions and history or legends. I also liked that visitors could leave their own love notes. Visiting the museum for an hour was a good way to pass time during a hot summer day after visiting Fort Lovrijenac close by, and I definitely left feeling happy!

This museum was a wonderful find. The exhibits were interesting, creative, and the curator was passionate and informative. They have a great section for kids that our 6 year old loved and their area on movies filmed in Dubrovnik - that included a lot of GOT info was better than a bunch of the "official" information areas. We left feeling happy and uplifted - which we didn't really expect. I hope everyone visits this museum.

What a truly unique and wonderful museum. Not only does it offer history and culture relating to Croatia, Dubrovnik and it's people - it offers immersive and personal stories of people all over the world. Inspiring and uplifting and I couldn't leave without a smile on my face. Thank you so much to the guys who created this place, so friendly and sweet. Literally lovely - in every sense of the word.

This was a unique, very enjoyable museum, and the owner clearly puts a lot of heart and soul (and dare I say, love) into this place. We popped in to get a break from the heat and the crowds and we are so glad we did. It was a fun and different way to learn about some Croatian history as well as read about real life love stories that guests submitted. We got through the whole museum in about 30 minutes, so it's definitely worth a visit and easy to fit into your day.

This place would be so easy to miss, I'm glad we found it! I was on holiday with my mum and wanted to come here, seeing the notes especially from people still looking for love actually hit me in a way I didn't think it would, it was extremely sweet reading the stories and I did have a little cry about one of the notes thanking their other half for letting them travel and waiting for them.. (my ex broke up with me so he could go travelling claiming it wants fair on me to wait) do it struck a nerve a little. I loved the Johnny cash letter to June and when I had read about the quest for love I thought I'd go give it a shot myself! I also ended up leaving without my rucksack and panicking I ran back in! I then started imagining that being my item for a love story on museum- imagine meeting someone there who turned out later on to me a love interest! The woman was extremely nice and gave us a discount for the bar where we went after and had a drink whilst watching the sea. Such a romantic little place even if not visiting with a romantic partner 🩷😊

The guy who ran the cute little museum was sooo lovely. He gave us a free bottle of water, a quick bit of information and a free fan! The museum had 3 floors of old and new stories/ traditions and was a good little stop for our time in Croatia. Would recommend!

This is a must if you have a few days in Dubrovnik! We planned it on a day that rained and it was a perfect indoor activity. This museum made us smile and laugh. Not many museums are uplifting, but this charming museum made us feel grateful and happy at the end. 10/10 recommend!
