Tucked away down a narrow alley, this place is a real find. Mainly due to the young lady hosting our wine tasting. She was extremely knowledgeable and friend. She made recommendations based on our preferences and when I didn't like one of the choices she brought me a perfect alternative. Lovely experience, and great to take a breather from the... More

Visited his lovely little wine bar down one of the many narrow side streets of the old city a couple of times. On each occasion a different daughter of the owner was looking after things, although I only got the name of Stella the younger daughter - she was fab. She knew so much about the wines, gave us all... More

Very welcoming place, the ladies running it were part of a family of winemakers who had extensive knowledge of their own, local and other wines. Very good description of the wines, great professionals and friendly too. Their own wines were absolutely excellent and they had a good range too, able to accommodate all the possible tastes. If you like wine,... More

Very welcoming wine bar. Tried a selection of different wines. Hostess had fantastic knowledge and was so very friendly. Didn't feel rushed at any point during our sampling. Can buy wines by the glass or bottle. Or can do a wine flight for reasonable cost. Can select yourself which wines you want to try or hostess will happily recommended a... More

Not usually a family destination but late in the season there was plenty of space for us all. Great little place to sit down and chill out in one of the back streets of Dubrovnik (but just off the main area). Very nice wine with knowledgable staff and nice meat/ cheese platter to compliment the wine.

Excellent evening. The waitress (who I think was also the owner/ manager) was very attentive to our needs. She asked what we were interested in and continually changed her recommendations based on our comments. All-in-all a great evening.

Great selection and atmosphere for relaxing or learning about Croatian wines. We had the Pomet Plavac Mali 2013 and it was stellar.

On consecutive nights we had a wonderful evening at Malvasija Wine Bar. On both evenings we were asked about our wine preferences and educated about Croatian wines. Better still, the wines were delicious!

Being French and fussy, I arrived with loads of prejudices about Croatian wine. They are AMAZING! Half of the wine menu is from a local winery, which is really worth trying. We tried different wines: white - mineral ones -, red (the Merlot is amazing), sparkling and dessert one (red). We haven't been disappointed a single time even from the... More
