My buddy Jared and I had a great experience with Diving Center Blue Planet! From the front office staff Maša, boat captain Marko and our dive instructor Vlaho, we had a great wreck diver course followed by some cool fun dives! They made us feel very welcome and made our trip that much more enjoyable, especially during the current global pandemic! I would highly recommend coming here for your PADI courses or simply just to fun dive! We will be returning when able for our Tec diving course and encouraging our dive friends to join us! Thanks again!

I contacted Blue Planet through their website in July 2019, and got a very prompt and helpful response from Masa, who booked me in to complete my Padi Open Water Scuba Diving referral with Blue Planet in October of 2019. On arrival the office team were very helpful, friendly and efficient - they helped me to complete the required forms, and then sent me down to the dive room to get kitted out. As I had not dived with the centre before (nor in the ocean), I did a refresher dive with Marko and went through the basics that I had learned in a pool (with London Dive School) - he was very patient, and made the experience feel both very safe, and very relaxed. Fully refreshed, I was handed over to Tarik Mujagic for the next two days. He was very good at explaining what we would be doing, where we would be going, our responsibilities to each other as buddies, and what to do if we had a problem. He was incredibly patient with the group, made sure that we understood each instruction before and during the dive, and made what could be pretty scary and stressful, feel very safe and relaxed. A super knowledgable guy, and great teacher - diving with Tarik was a real pleasure. The 5 dives that I completed were from the dock, and along the coast edge/reef - there was a lot of interesting marine life including starfish, octopus, and crabs. The whole experience was fantastic - I can't recommend Blue Planet enough, and would dive with them tomorrow given the opportunity.

Thank you for your fantastic review! It warms my heart to hear such great things about my team. Maša, Marko, Tarik and all others do their best to make all our guests feel at home. When it comes to diving, feeling safe and relaxed are probably the most important things an instructor can teach you, it`s great to know you felt that way with both of them. Tarik is indeed one of the most patient people I know, not to mention his warm and kind personality. He is also a person who always puts others first and tries to make everybody feel happy and pleased. I˙m happy his students recognize this, he really deserves it. Thank you very much for your recommendation and for putting your trust in us, all of us from the team sincerely hope you will come back and dive with us again - we have much more to show you.

We came across Blue Planet when looking at a dive centre to use in Dubrovnik. Staying just a short walk away, it was easy to get to. (Don’t expect much out of the hotel, if you’re not staying there, they can be slightly pretentious... we tried to get breakfast there on one of our days and after lots of discussion between 3 people in Croatian, we were told a flat no.) This is NOT a reflection of Blue Planet. We had 4 days booked and were looking forward to a mixed bag of dive sites, and that’s exactly what we got. We did 2 of the sites twice, but that’s not a bad thing, beautiful topography and very relaxed dive guides. When we were there, and as experienced divers, Blue Planet were also facilitating courses, introductions and discovery dives so it was really busy. We had a couple of times where we were prepped and ready and waiting a good hour, sometimes 2 for our first dive, but there’s easy access to the sea so make the most out of a bit of sun lounging and swimming in the sea. The team there are great, different personalities and slightly different approaches, none of this bad; if you need extra support or feel a little nervous, make sure you speak up before going on a dive or ask for assistance before going out. As with any qualified certification, especially advanced open water and above, there is an expectation you know the main drills so if you’re a bit rusty or can’t quite remember, if you don’t speak up, they’ll rightly assume you are comfortable. Don’t be that person when you’re in the water you clearly don’t know what you’re doing... you’ll spoil it for others. We took most of our own equipment but they have great 5mm Mares wetsuits which are more than suitable. We managed to get in cavern dives, shore dives and the Toronno wreck which is definitely a must for experienced divers (30-40+ metres) Thanks Blue Planet

Thank you very much for your positive and informative review! I`m extremely happy you enjoyed our dive sites, you couldn`t have described them better - a varied mix of caves, caverns, lakes, walls, wrecks well worth visiting more than just once. I would also like to thank you for complimenting the team members - indeed, they are all different individuals, but their unique personalities make one excellent team. All of them are hardworking, dedicated to their job and, most importantly - genuinely love what they do. I`m extremely proud to be managing them. I`m glad you used the sometimes longer waiting time to relax and swim in the sea, we`re blessed to be located at such a beautiful place where even waiting can be enjoyable. You visited us in peak of a very peculiar season due to Covid-19 - hopefully you`ll visit us again when the circumstances are back to normal and we can make up for the slight imperfections :) Thank you from the whole team!

I started communicating with Maśa on mail about diving in February and she was very prompt in replying and answering questions. Thank you Maśa. Though it is off season Blue Planet takes divers on request during the off season. A few diving sites are right at the Dubrovnik Palace hotel where the dive site office is. Marko was waiting for me at the appointed time and place and all three days it was sheer delight diving with Marko. Young, patient, helpful and great to dive with. All 6 dives were luxuriously patient, easy and delightfully wonderful. Marko was personally attentive to everything as it my first set of dives in 15 degree Celsius waters. Met Anto, the owner, too. A friendly, happy person and runs a great professional set up.
