Lots to see and do here and probably need a day. We had a few hours but it’s a beautiful place and the views are incredible from the Fort

On our second day in Dubrovnik, we took the easy ferry over to nearby Lokrum. We headed first to the small inland salt sea, which was a bit crowded. Next we walked through the gorgeous and varied botanical gardens. We sat and enjoyed a cocktail...More

Lokrum is beautiful place to get away from crowds in Dubrovnik. Nice beaches, great views from several spots, few nice bars to chill out and just relax.

Jumping on the 15minute boat trip was easy from Dubrovnik pier and the cost of the return journey (150kn per adult) included the entry to the island (120kn). Some great picnic spots or a snack bar and 2 restaurants. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and...More

The ferry goes from the old port of Dubrovnik- under the "arches" of the old armoury right on the front. Depending on the time of the year the first ferry goes either at 9.30am or 10am- for most of the year it's the latter... More
