I hadn't expected to enjoy the Old Town as much as I did. The entire area is spotless with zero litter. We went in the morning (tour started at 10:15 and lasted until about noon) and we had no issue with crowds though it was...More

I recommend a guided tour here as you get more history related to the place. Heaps of restaurants and souvenir shops. There is a Green Market in one of the squares that is worth a visit.

Beautiful old town with lots to see and a lovely atmosphere. If your a fan of game of thrones, you will recognise a lot of Kings landing and other filming locations within the walls. The streets are really pretty but there are a lot of...More

The old town of Dubrovnik is magical, it has a real charm about it. Certainly glad we have crossed it off our bucket list, walking the walls and watching Croatia in the world cup were particular highlights. There are several downsides: The walls are great...More

We went to Dubrovnik in June and it was already very hot and overcrowded - full of tourists. All the streets are just shops and restaurants, so I felt a bit sorry for the people who live there. It's better once you wander off down...More

The old town in Dubrovnik is so quaint. Lots of little alleyways lead you to the sea. Game of thrones was filmed here. The harbour has the local ferries mooring there ready to whisk you off to one of the islands. The best bit is...More

We visited for a week, coincidentally during the world cup semi and final with Croatia! The atmosphere has been fantastic bordering on overexcitement, however the locals have remained polite and jubilant. We recommend checking days when the cruise ships will be in as that has...More

If you are visiting Dubrovnik you have to stay in the Old Town if possible! We are here now and it is one of the most unique places we’ve ever been! There is something very special about the history here and it is quite breathtakingly...More

Yes, you can. We started from the main entrance and finished at the exit near harbour. There are a few exist points. You do not have to do the whole route, if you are short of time. It is only a short walk, I guess it... More
