I had read about this bar and thought it’s probably for youngsters, maybe we shouldn’t go but when we got there, it was all ages. Different levels reaching down to the rocks. Had a glass of wine and a beer. I like ice with my wine (it’s a South African thing) - was told no ice. Asked what cocktails they had was told no cocktails. After a while we asked where the toilet was - they said no toilet! They said we could use the nearest restaurant’s toilet. Come on! Did the nearest restaurant know about this? Don’t think so…. If you want the customers you need to provide the facilities. In the end we left and decided to have an early dinner in Konoba Jesuite where they had toilets, ice and cocktails! And the food was amazing too!

Great place to stop for a drink especially if you catch the sunset. Like others have mentioned take cash and enjoy the view. The bar is all bottles and a range of drinks but not many options within categories.

The view is incredible and even in winter months, there is a bright sun shining on us! There are also a few cats wandering around which make the ambience even more relaxing
However, the drink options are basic and expensive (a small bottle of juice + a bottle of Jana iced tea cost 9 Euros) - so you are basically paying for the view

Our GOT tour guide told us about this bar and warned us that they only take kuna (not euros). You enter through a door in the wall and sit on cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Breathtaking! We could have sat there drinking Osječko all day, but we got hungry and all they serve are nuts to eat.

Great view, meh bar. The view is incredible, and it's an easy staircase to hop into the stream
Aegean. The beer selection is sparse and lackluster, but again. .. that view. With a visit for the novelty of it but I wouldn't return for the beer. CASH ONLY

We went approx 7pm on a Tuesday, we managed to get a seat as I assume people were leaving after sunset. Stunning place, one of a kind. Guardians of the galaxy soundtrack which was a bonus ha! Basic drink options but you pay for the whole ‘experience’. Alcoholic drinks approx £5 each. Staff were friendly. Would definitely like to come back here.

After being quite excited finding this place the service and bar staff are just terrible. Very surprising as everyone else in Dubrovnik are so friendly. Rude and an attitude of a 2 year old

Come for the views not the drinks. The view is simply spectacular, but there are very limited options on beverages, several items were out of stock or not cold. Also, the “bathroom” is a glorified latrine with some bamboo around it, so plan accordingly.

Waitress didn’t inform us before taking an order that the place is cash only, whatever we ordered from the menu was “out of stock”. When I went to pay I saw the hand-written note on the wall that they don’t accept credit cards, but it was not just the credit cards but cards in general. The waitress seemed to be very annoyed when I said that we didn’t know that this was a cash only place. I personally think that it is not worth going there, unless you just want a soft drink or beer/cider.

There seem to be several Buza gates, this one was a combined cafeteria and swimming spot. The entrance from the city wall into the open is so high up that it seemed impossible to think of going to the sea. The stairs with secure railings descend first to a tiny panoramic cafeteria and continue down to the water. The extreme location was popular with loud young Americans.

Hi there
I want to book a table in June 2019.
How did I get hold of someone to book a table?
When is the best time for a sunset view??

No tables to book. It’s first come, first served. Buza is a little bar carved into the cliff. Just chairs, some tables, bottled drinks (and nothing too fancy), only bags of peanuts if you’re hungry, and a magnificent view. It’s simple, totally not fancy, and that’s the beauty of it. As for the sunset, you’ll have to check the forecast and timing as you get closer to June.

Almost Everybody speaks English so it will not be hard to take the bus. Numerous busses go to the Old Town because it is THE attraction in town! Just get off outside of the walls of Old Town and walk across the bridge. Clue for Buza; it is located on the far end of town so you may as well enjoy walking through the whole place. OR pay to walk on top of the wall. You can see Buza l and II on the cliffs from up on the wall if you remember to watch for them. It is a highlight to walk on the walls anyway. When you are done with the walk, you will have a better sense of wher Buza is.
