This is a wonderful Island. Great little restaurants in Lopud and a pleasant 40 minutes walk over the hill brings you on the most amazing beach. Buggy's available if don't want to walk. Perfect place for children the water is so shallow and calm very picturesque. Great relaxing hide away island away from the crowds of wonderful Dubrovnik. No cars... More

Nice quaint little island. Definitely worth the visit. If you're looking for just a quiet day at the beach then this should be on your list.

Although hoards of tourists pour out of their day-trip boats from Dubrovnik each day and spill into the restaurants and onto beaches, this remains an idyllic spot retaining quiet and quaint charm, oozing authenticity. There are some interesting walks over the island including the ancient hillside fort and other scenic routes both inland and looking out to see / over... More

The ocean water around Dubrovnik is some of the clearest waters that I have seen. Visit the island for a day outing or to stay over - it is great.

Not the most popular of the islands near Dubrovnik but one that is worth visiting. It's peaceful and picturesque with an abandoned monastery, a botanical garden, a green valley and a sandy beach. It's got something for everyone.

No cars on the island. Golf cart used. Small island with only 269 inhabitants. Very quiet in september. You walk the promenade where you have few restaurants and boutiques. There is also few hotels. Not much to do in sept when you are aground for one hour. It is pleasant to walk along the sea.

Take an unspoiled soul searching break here. Beautiful, simple and steeped in history. Watch the ferry daily bringing goods and people into the tiny harbour for some culture spotting over a pavement bistro that oozes a cuisine of freshness and culinary vitality. No fuss, no muss, then head up the hillside for a ramble for stunning views of flotilla craft,... More

Honestly I did not find anything special about this island I mean croatia has other more special islands that people can visit. This was my least favorite island I went to in croatia

The small island, which in contrast to its surroundings, has two beautiful large sandy beaches. First, in the village, offers the proximity of the ship docks, shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels, and all the amenities of city beaches.By beautiful promenade, walk or eco-friendly ride through the island you can go on Šunj, even larger and more beautiful sandy beach on the... We made a trip with local ferry boat to Lopud island at 10 am. Much cheaper than private excursion boats. Lopud was nice place and there is little park and it's "must see". We walk to other side of island to the beach. Walking takes abaut 25-30 minutes and it is rough up- and down hill. Take water with you... More
