Brsalje Street is the main road outside the O;d Town. It is not to be confused with the Stradun that is the main limestone flagged promenade inside the Old Town. Brsalje Square is at the entrance to the Old Town with its fountain which connects the Old Towns' bus stop and the Pile Gate. This is the western entrance to... More

Right in the middle of the historic city. Nice street with lot of very expensive shops and restaurants. Don't miss the basilica and city tower. Be careful when big cruise ships arrives to the city, the street is completely full of these cruise tourists.

Enjoyable street for both sight seeing and relaxing. The street turns into a fairy tale of lights at night,

Crowded but captivating and enthralling walk with markets and ancient buildings. Lot of eateries around but expensive.

The lively street, with souvenir shops, churches and restaurants does tend to get a bit crowded. Do wander off into the side streets to soak in the atmosphere of the old city

I mentioned this before that I prefer Dubrovnik at night and Braslje Street is definitely more interesting and fun at night. There was great live music right on the street one night when we were there. I think the night time pictures I submitted say it all.

A fountain here where water is fresh enough for you to refill water bottle, many places to exchange money, candy stores, souvenir shops galore. However, I recommend taking a few alleyways and get off the beaten path. Numerous places to eat. This is a beautiful, magical city filled with history.
