Bordering the east side of the old city, this area is pretty in all weather. Cafes and restaurants are generally open all year round, but some do close or run shorter hours during the off season. In rainy weather, it can be tricky. Life goes...More
Dubrovnik's City Harbour is a lovely area to be at any time. There are many restaurants, cafes and other shops and you can have a wonderful time with friends. The locals are lovely and quite helpful, at least those we spoke to! The water views...More
While visiting the Old Town, we walked out of the town by the water and took in the views of the boats and the walls of the Old Town. It's refreshing being by the water and a change from walking inside the walled town.
You must visit the Harbor during the day and night because they are vastly different views. It is so great watching all the people come in and out of the harbor and also there are some great places to sit along the wall. I also...More
We visited Dubrovnik in the fall of 2017 and it is a wonderful place and very reasonable. I think I would have to rate It as one of my favorite cities in the world as old town is just spectator. The beaches are nice but...More
Visited the harbour during the day, and at night. It was pretty. Not the most beautiful I've ever seen but still attractive. It's worth visiting if you are going to the old town as it's at the end of the Strandun .
We walked along the harbour, there are lots of boat tours leaving from here. When compared to other harbours we saw on our trip around Croatia we found this one to be the poorest as the water was quite dirty and filled with rubbish

The boats I saw you more for island hopping, glass bottom boat tours, dinner cruises, etc. They may have something like what you want but as we were in the mood for the things I mentioned above that is what we did. We paid anywhere for$12 a person to $50 a person for the things we did. It is a beautiful place. Have fun!
The trip costs 40 Kuna. There are regular, daily sailings from Dubrovnik Old Town’s port to the island. They sail to the Island two to four times per hour depending on season. The sailing takes just under 15 minutes.
