I have travelled a lot around the world but this kind of subterranean collection of long corridors from the time of WWI was something new even for me. Do not wet your shoes in the pools of water on the floor. Bring a flashlight (or...More

Zerostrasse is only open from mid June onwads. It's not a major attraction but we found it really interesting from an historical perspective. It is just a series of tunnels but they go right under the hilltop town to enable the movement of military forces...More

You basically just wander thru a bunch of tunnels. We started by the Arena and ended up by the Fort. Overall a worthwhile venture.

Underground shelter. The place is just behind the twin gate. Nice to walk inside the tunnels. There are four tunnels; three of them are open. Only one gate to the outside. For me, it was the second best attraction in Pula after the Arena.

This is a nice and very interesting place. Ask the young gentleman at the entrance about the tunnel and the overall tunnel/bunker system of Pula. And read the folder ! It is a nice walk, some nice billboards about the history of Pula, its history...More

I liked the tunnels a lot, rest of the family not so much. It is a nice option to escape from the sun. You might spend 30 minutes here.

We walked for 45 minutes just to cover all the paths. It was a nice cold walk with couple of water dripping from top. One path led us to shopping street and other to square.
