Kamenjak

Rent a bike and discover the Kamenjak peninsula (National park). It's wild, you can find secluded beaches, water is blue and clear. A perfect 1-day experience.

Lovely long sandy beach and marina with plenty of bars and restaurants. We visited for the day and got a taxi from Pula which wasn't too expensive.

We often walked to the village and walked along looking at the boats. But there is history here too. Along the quay are information boards telling of the area's history and the windmill at the end is open with information on what was milled there etc. Surprising what you see when you look.

Drove through Medulin on coach trips and boarded a boat for a bbq cruise booked through Thomsons from Medulin Marina. Small village but very clean and Marina is lovely. Few restaurants and shops to look at.

Medulin can be reached on the number 25 bus from Pula, and takes about 40mins and 15 kuna to do the trip one way. It has a pleasant harbour and I would recommend walking along the coast to the south east to get the best views of the sea and the bay. Most of the beaches are very rocky and... More

A lovely village with some very nice beaches, lined with restaurants and ice-cream shops, very crowded in summer months. Still, it is worth visiting, especially outside the main season, when it is less crowded and more pleasant.
