Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Highest point of view in Zadar. Of course a lot of tourists but the view in sunny weather is great. There's quite tight enterance but you can climb it easily.

I was a little hesitant to make the climb up. There were places to rest along the way up. Once at the top, the views were excellent.

Lovely view after a 203 step climb. Watch out for those bells! They’re pretty loud if you’re close. We made it a game to avoid them.

Approx. 180 steps, including 28 very very narrow ones at the bottom. The ticket cost 4 € but it's worth climbing, because you get the 360° fantastic view of Zadar and surroundings.

You really should do this if you’re in Zadar!! For the price (it’s so cheap!!) and the views over the city which are just stunning, it’s a must do and I’m so glad we did it! The climb is a bit steep/narrow in parts with people trying to get up and down at the same time, but it’s doable, and so worth it to get to the top!

For 3 euros a person it's a great way to see panoramic views of the city.
Top Tip..go late at night, we pretty much had it to ourselves. No crowds & much cooler.
The first part of the climb is very narrow, but this soon opens up into a wider metal staircase, so don't let that put you off.
Sensible shoes and a head for heights are a must!

For only 3 euros and a bit of a climb, you can be rewarded with a fantastic view over Zadar. Yes, it's a bit steep, but it wasn't built with tourists in mind. The detail of the bells were worse a pause too.

Although the view once you get up is quite nice, it’s not worth the hype. The entrance is small, steap and claustrophobic. The way up is always packed with people that seem to have never walked up some stairs. Once you get on the observation deck, you barely have space to move since the roof covers most of the area and whatever space is left, belongs to the americans. :)) Overrated, 3 euro entrance.

For 3 Euro you can climb up the bell tower.

Narrow in some places and literally breathtaking ...

The all around views reward you for your exercise 😉

We went up the bell tower on an afternoon, about 180 steps to the top, not bad to climb up, although narrow in places, but well worth the views when you reach the top, the tower is 54 metres tall. You pay at the entrance to the tower, it was only a few euros
