This is fine if you are walking back from another attraction, such as The Sea Organ, which IS worth visiting, but I agree with other reviewers: it is not worth a special trip.

The Forum offerers an amazing display of Roman ruins. They are spread out, so they can be viewed individually. They were quite interesting.

I must admit - we simply stumbled upon this place, as we were looking at the archeological museum. But the details carved into stone are fascinating. Otherwise there are no writings about what they were and no try of restoring the position of the ruins.

It's cool to see all the ancient roman ruins and pillars etc. Right in the centre of Zadar so hard to miss.

It is amazing to find Roman ruins in so many places in Europe. Croatia is no different. There are lots of quality pieces of stone and it is easy to imagine how it once must have been.

Trieste is a city in Italy, not Croatia :) By bus it shouldn't take more than a hour by bus. Maybe even less.
