It's easy to miss this church as the entrance is not on the forum side where all the activity is. Go around the right side of St Donut and down the narrow street and hang a left (hang a right is you want some delicious...More

We have visited Zadar twice in the past 2 months and made daily visits to the cathedral, it has always been closed.

I did not climb up the bell tower and did not go inside either as I was too busy taking photos around the Cathedral. It sits as the backdrop of the Forum. It looked beautiful no matter which angle you took the photo.

We went up the bell tower which was only 15 kuna each. The climb up is very narrow to start with and then widens out. the view is beautiful at the top. I would imagine it change during the day and evening

We didn't go into the Cathedral itself, we just went into the bell tower which was something like 20Kr to get in, which is next to nothing and i'm assuming all the money goes into the preservation of the building - it was well worth...More

The cathedral was closed when we arrived but we did take advantage of the bell tower to get some great views of the town of Zadar. It's a climb to the top but along the way you get impressively close to the bells themselves housed...More

The view from the top is absolutely breath taking. Well worth all the steps. The entrance fee is very reasonable. Do not miss.
